Two steps forward, one step back

July 25th, 2006 at 12:59 am

I got paid on Friday, and I finally balanced all my different funds for different things and budgeted out the money I had. Unfortunately this weekend was also a time of quite a lot of drinking, so there was a lot of money spent for misc. purchases. I got myself a flask, which I consider an investment in future nights going out, but it was ouch, 30 bucks.
I've made a list to go food shopping tomorrow, I'm hoping to start my grocery price book on this trip. I think I'll go without my roommate this time, so I don't feel rushed and I can take my time comparing prices and using coupons without hearing him complain.

Great idea, I think I will start my price book as well. I had one whenI was on my own and it worked...so far I can't seem to cut my grocery bill but for August I plan making my monthly calendar with my dinner for the night on it so I know what to buy at the store, nothing more nothing less
